It’s Mine Beach – Home Renovation

Location: Holden Beach, NC

Designer Credits: Jennifer Wagener

Project Overview:

Bringing a kitschy, fun, West Palm beach vibe inside was the goal of this complete remodel. The property held lots of charm and potential being less than a block away from the beach with canal access.

After all, the beach house had not been updated since the 1970s.

The kitchen was modernized with a ceramic tile backsplash, new glass cooktop and quartz countertops that mimic the look of sand on the beach, more contemporary hardware. New flooring replaced the old laminate and indoor/outdoor carpet.

The master bath had its steel tub replaced with a modern fiberglass tub and a new sink was installed. The jack-and-jill bath in the guests ’room got a beautiful new floor-to-ceiling ceramic tile and glass shower enclosure. It was all capped off with new paint in various fun colors. A surprise addition was included with an outdoor shower added under the back steps that were reconstructed using repurposed wood.
